dealnews Experiences Record Growth in November, during National Deal Week

during National
Deal Week, the heaviest online shopping period of the year spanning
Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday (News - Alert).
During this five-day period, dealnews experienced a 67% growth in
revenue and a 59% increase in online visits versus the same period in
2011.
During National Deal Week 2012, dealnews' website revenue surged 67%
compared to the same period a year ago, based on preliminary data. The
top day of revenue growth was Thanksgiving Day, which grew 118% compared
to Thanksgiving Day of 2011.
Traffic to dealnews from mobile devices also spiked during National Deal
Week, with year-over-year mobile visit growth topping 127%. That does
not include the growth from the dealnews
App and the dealnews Black
Friday App, for both iOS and Android (News - Alert). Together, those apps have been
installed approximately 1.4M times since inception, which represents 81%
growth in 2012.
