CV Surgeon Updates Their Video Channel

London, United Kingdom, Dec 19, 2012 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- CV Surgeon, the CV and career expert, has made some updates to their online career video channel.

CV Surgeon (http://www.cv-surgeon.co.uk/), who specialise in supplying bespoke CV templates to jobseekers, launched their online video channel last year. The channel, hosted on You Tube, covers a variety of CV and career advice topics. Although the channel has been live for over ten months and has secured a dedicated fan base, the recent changes look set to increase their views and visitors.

Craig Stovold, Director, explains: "With the vast amount of jobseekers looking online for career advice, we knew that launching a career video channel would complement our existing service and offer our users more help. The video channel was originally launched to accompany our advice articles on the website. They all range from one - two minute videos and cover a variety of topics. The recent changes we have made really help to streamline the videos and to make our users' experience more fluent. The videos have been segregated into categories. We have a section of videos dedicated to job interviews, a section dedicated to general CV advice and a section dedicated to our career interviews and industry spotlight section. We are positive that the new-look channel will make it easier for our members to find exactly what they are looking for and hopefully the general public and website visitors will benefit too." The videos on the CV Surgeon channel are also featured on the advice section of the CV Surgeon website. They feature a variety of topics including job interview advice, applying for jobs advice, CV tips and cover letter writing tips. So far the CV Surgeon video channel has had 5,000 views and the team are confident this number will keep growing. Stovold continued: "We know that our users want help when writing a CV which is why our advice section was set up. As well as creating a bespoke CV template on our site and choosing a design and layout, users can read advice articles during every step of the job search process. This has really helped to instil confidence in CV writing and boost job interview success. But with so many people using mobiles and tablet devices to browse things on the move, we feel the video offering will only continue to grow in popularity. Viewers can gain advice and information at the click of a button and watch the video with very little effort. This makes it much easier to browse on the move and to gain instant advice so it's something that will keep growing." The videos on the channel also offer access to career specialists working in a variety of industries. The career interviews, which include Teachers, Event Management and Plumbers amongst other professions, are designed to help people gain an insight into the industry and to help develop key skills.

As well as offering advice the CV Surgeon website specialises in CV templates and designs. Members can use the online tool to create a unique CV and choose from a number of layouts before downloading.
