BRIEF: Robbery at Santa Rosa bank

Emergency dispatchers have reported a robbery at a U.S. Bank in a Santa Rosa Safeway store on Mendocino Avenue near Steele Lane.
The incident occurred about 11:20 a.m. Thursday involving a Latino man in his late 20s wearing a goatee, a black hat, gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
He was using a cellphone and was last seen leaving a door on the west side of the store, dispatchers said.
Officers were converging on the scene.
No additional details were immediately available.
