The mobile IT management solutions provider Rove (News - Alert) recently claimed that Rove Mobile Admin, the powerful remote monitoring system from Rove, is helping IT decision makers around the globe to efficiently monitor their networks remotely from Android (News - Alert) based smartphones and tablets.
Based on agentless technology, Rove Mobile Admin is a secure tablet and smartphone enabled IT management solution. It provides immediate notification of issues and give access to a comprehensive range of functionality to support diagnosis, triage and resolution of the issues from a mobile device. The solutions has been designed to enable network administrators to securely access and perform management operations on an extensive array of IT servers and services, Rove clarified in a press release.
The Mobile Admin Push Notification system delivers personally-scoped alerts to any and all Android devices. The latest version of Mobile Admin allows IT staff to have greater visibility and security with the Dashboard and Notification system. The solution allows IT admins to set up personal monitors for their network and they are alerted through push notifications to their Android devices. This, according to Matt Moore, Rove’s director of development, helps the administrators to resolve IT issues more quickly and easily.
“With Mobile Admin we’ve not only increased efficiency and response times but also reduced costs. Instead of carrying a laptop and an expensive 3G service, the team can use the less expensive data service on their Android devices from anywhere, anytime, all usually less than a minute after being notified there was an issue or a request being sent to them. One of my team used his Sprint (News

- Alert) Larry Labas acknowledged in a statement.
In September last year, Rove launched the Mobile Admin version 6.0. According to company sources, Rove Mobile Admin 6.0 featured a new scope of functionality focused on further mobilizing IT monitoring and incident management systems.
