Dockem Takes Hands-Free to a New Level with the Koala Mount

With the development of smart devices, anything and everything is possible. Tablets and iPads have transformed the way people go about their daily routines. Instead of going to a book store, purchasing a newspaper, heading to the movies or even going to a local department to shop, people can press a button connect to a variety of places.

The one downfall to using any tablet-sized device, however, is that it requires you to hold it. Many people will try propping up the device on their table to prevent straining their neck and hands.

To solve the problem, Dockem developed the Koala Mount, its own technology aimed at making a tablet hands-free.

The mount was designed as an add-on to tablets, allowing it to be hung up on any wall or hard surface. The case can be installed in seconds and won’t cause any damage once set up.

It basically gets hung up with industrial strength tape and can be moved from room to room and wall-to-wall.

“Designed to fit all versions of the iPad and the several Android tablets, including the popular Samsung Galaxy tablet line, the Koala Mount can be installed in just seconds using 3M (News - Alert) Command Strips,” the company explained. “Simply attach the strips to the back of the mount and affix it to a wall above an outlet for safe charging, next to the bed, your bathroom mirror, at eye level at your desk for video calls or anywhere else you need to be able to use and view your tablet without having to slouch or bend over to see the screen.”

The device uses two independent brackets – so users can position the 3M Command Strips evenly apart either vertically or horizontally to enjoy any tablets versatility. Once the 3M Command Strips lose their stickiness, consumers can purchase any standard replacements.

The complete Koala Mount set is available for $19.99 from Dockem’s website
