ROUTE 66 App Surpasses One Million Downloads


The revolutionary ROUTE 66 Maps + Navigation application from ROUTE 66 has surpassed a million downloads on Google (News - Alert) Play. The well-appreciated ROUTE 66 app is now one of the most frequently downloaded applications on Google Play, with the number of downloads increasing each week.

Before travelling, users are offered a choice to save the entire maps on their smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi using ROUTE 66 Maps + Navigation. While travelling abroad, users can therefore evade data roaming charges. Users are also guaranteed instantaneous access with definite performance depending on the reception of the local network by the app. The actual road can be visualized by the user using the Follow Me augmented reality direction-finding feature of the application. Users are guided to their destination with the help of a pragmatic virtual car driving ahead, which offers GPS, live video, detailed maps, and spoken directions.

Users using Android 2.0 or above can download the ROUTE 66 application from Google Play for no extra cost. The app also offers access to maps for free. One month global trial license is also provided to the users along with the app, when downloaded from Google Play.

The license covers Navigation along with Follow Me feature, and access to finest services like Traffic information and Speed cameras for no extra cost. For only USD 64.99 users can purchase the Worldwide Navigation license with no expiry time period. Using this license, users can avail turn-by-turn navigation capabilities in a minimum of 80 countries.
