Adaptxt Unveils New Versions of Smart Keyboard App

Adaptxt, a smart keyboard app that enables Android (News - Alert) users to type emails and text messages quickly, accurately, and succinctly, is introducing two new versions of its app that take user feedback into consideration.

To make it easier and faster for mobile users to type emails and text messages on a virtual keyboard, the newest versions of the app offer 103 custom languages, industry-specific dictionaries, and artificial intelligence that quickly masters the nuances of how each person writes.

According to company officials, they used extensive user feedback to create Adaptxt 1.0 for smartphones - which includes features such as single-touch Wikipedia definitions and toggling between languages.

In addition, the solution uses an industry-first SMS dictionary that provides over 3,000 shorthand abbreviations to make typing text messages faster.

Products under the Adaptxt brand name are sold by KeyPoint Technologies (News - Alert), a global provider of predictive computer input technology, which combines linguistics, artificial intelligence and computer science to deliver smarter and more natural consumer experiences.

The company made headlines recently with the announcement that Ronald Brown was named Vice President of Marketing at the company with a global responsibility and Sanjiv Sharma was named Vice President Sales for the Americas and Europe.
