Gadgets -Intel Picks N-trig's DuoSense Digitizer Tech for New UrbanMax Mobile Computer


N-trig, the provider of DuoSense technology combining pen and zero-pressure touch for mobile and fixed computers into a single device, announced the selection of its technology for integration in its new UrbanMax mobile computer by Intel (News - Alert).
 
The UrbanMax is currently a concept platform and is being demonstrated at the Intel Developers Forum.
 
The UrbanMax has an 11.1 inch wide display and is one inch thick, and represents an opportunity for new market applications. N-trig’s DuoSense digitizer, selected for use in the UrbanMax, features a battery-less pen, zero pressure capacitive touch, multi-touch functionality, and low power consumption. N-trig is the creator of the only pen, touch, and multi-touch solution for the computing world and its technology enables the most advanced, natural-feeling user experience in mobile computers for a hands-on experience.
 
With its technology N-trig revolutionized the way people interact with computers by providing the industry’s first dual-mode pen and touch input device.
