Gadgets -Newton Peripherals Debuts MoGo Talk for the iPhone

Newton Peripherals, a developer of integrated wireless peripherals for the mobile lifestyle, has unveiled MoGo Talk for the iPhone (News - Alert) -- the first Bluetooth headset that can charge with users’ mobile phones and is capable of delivering superior audio quality in an ultra-thin (5mm) design. Users can enjoy the convenience of having a charged headset with them at all times.

Mogo Talk’s folding earpiece lays completely flat, enabling it to store and charge on the back of an iPhone or inside a laptop. The MoGo Talk case protects the back of an iPhone 3G or 3G S but has a shallow slot to fit a bundled MoGo headset. The headset has a talk time of four hours despite its thin size and the talk range is up to 10 meters.

The design of the Bluetooth headset is such that it will fit right into users’ ears comfortably and not around a clunky speaker like other Bluetooth headsets.

In a release, Stuart Nixdorff, CEO of Newton Peripherals, said the company designed the iPhone MoGo Talk model specifically for iPhone users who value a simple, sleek integrated Bluetooth headset that fits with the iPhone’s design. iPhone users now have a light, small and comfortable quality headset in MoGo Talk that cleanly and transparently integrates with the iPhone's design, making it nearly unnoticeable.

The technology behind MoGo Talk for iPhone is a potent combination of patent pending SoundShape noise blocking, comfort fit ear tips, high fidelity balanced armature audio drivers and rich SmartAudio processing. The company claims these unique features work together to remove noise, echo and wind interference.

PCMag.com recently reviewed the MoGo Talk’s quality and said the earpiece sounded surprisingly full, no doubt due to the headset's unique speaker design, and voice calls were crisp and clear in both directions. The device can boast of no direct competition though there are other great Bluetooth headsets on the market.

MoGo Talk for iPhone follows Newton Peripherals’ tradition of designing the best wireless peripherals for the mobile lifestyle. The device is priced at $129 and can be purchased from MoGo store.

Newton Peripherals recently introduced MOGO Talk for BlackBerry (News - Alert) Curve & Javelin and also the MoGo Mouse for Netbooks.
