Gadgets -Intrinsyc Supports Launch of Devices Based on Microsoft Windows Embedded CE Technology


Intrinsyc Software International, a provider of software solutions for mobile and embedded devices, announced new solutions to help customers bring “highly differentiated devices based on the next generation of Microsoft (News - Alert) Windows Embedded CE, Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3, to market faster.”
 
The company is now providing customers with creative and innovative solutions for Silverlight for Windows Embedded application and UI development for embedded devices through engineering, products and tools.
 
An early adopter of Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3, Intrinsyc has built up expertise in Silverlight for Windows Embedded UI development with engineering and design resources in Beijing and Vancouver to support global OEM development teams operating around the clock.
 
The Intrinsyc Windows Embedded CE and Silverlight for Windows Embedded teams specialize in the development of small form-factor, connected ARM (News - Alert) processor-based devices such as wireless health devices, consumer Internet devices, e-readers and personal navigation devices for OEMs requiring differentiation in their product lines, officials said.
 
The team has the hardware and software expertise to provide assistance through the entire development cycle including concept design, proof of concept, prototyping, integration, testing, certification, final production and post deployment.
 
David Manuel, vice president and general manager of Device Development Solutions, Intrinsyc, said he thinks that with expertise in human factors and usability, they can build truly original Silverlight applications and UIs that deliver an outstanding user experience.
 
Microsoft officials feel that the innovative Silverlight for Windows Embedded UI framework will enable the Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3 operating system to deliver rich application experiences to assist OEMs in redefining the user experience and delivering connectivity to Windows 7-based PCs, servers and online services.

The Intrinsyc Silverlight for Windows Embedded and Windows Embedded CE UI showcase will be on display at ESC Boston (News - Alert) September 21 - 24 in the Hynes Convention Center in Boston.
 
Intrinsyc recently announced it has entered into a worldwide value added reseller agreement with Kryos, makers of the Velocity Mobile Platform – an integrated development environment specifically designed for building enterprise applications that run on BlackBerry (News - Alert) smartphones.
