ProClip USA (News - Alert), Inc., a North American distributor of ProClip in-vehicle device mounting systems and accessories, has launched device holders to securely mount the TomTom (News - Alert) XXL to car, truck and SUV dashboards as well as consoles.

 

The ProClip mounting system consists of 2 parts, namely the device specific holder and the vehicle specific dashboard mount. The vehicle mount will attach to the dashboard and then the device holder will attach to the vehicle mount, thereby creating the mounting solution. When this two part system is attached to the dashboard, it will provide better viewing and easier access. It is also possible to attach ProClip holders to other manufacturers’ vehicle mounts or any other flat surface.

TomTom XXL holders consist of a number of options like tilt swivel, mini USB pass-through for connector, cigarette lighter charging cable and mini USB pass-through for TMC (News - Alert) connection. In addition, fixed installation charging cable and Mini USB pass-through for TMC connection is also present.

 

The ProClip Vehicle Mount provides the mounting platform to attach any of the ProClip holders. The only vehicle specific, consumer installable mounting bracket available in the global market, the ProClip Vehicle Mount will clip into the dashboard seams. This provides a sturdy and tight fit with no need to dismantle the dashboard for installing the same.
